OM-8 mounted washing equipment is used as part of combined road machines of MKDS type for washing: noise screens; tunnels; road furnishings; road signs; information boards. The design of OM-7 equipment allows to perform technological operations at a distance of up to 5 m from the side dimension of the machine and at a height of up to 7 m from the road surface. The comb attachment design allows washing both vertical surfaces and surfaces installed at an angle, up to horizontal ones.

The drive of all working bodies of the equipment is provided by hydraulic system with electrically controlled hydraulic valve. The OM-7 equipment working bodies are controlled by a console located in the driver's cab. Rotation of the manipulator arm at an angle of ±72° from the longitudinal axis allows to perform technological operations equally effectively both on the right and on the left side of the machine.

Water pumps developing pressure up to 50 atm are used for operation of the OM-7 washing equipment. High-pressure nozzles installed on the comb create fan-shaped jets that allow effective washing of the surface width of 2.5 meters. When the comb is converted to a horizontal position, the OM-7 equipment can be used as a traditional equipment for high-pressure pavement washing. The water system of the OM-7 equipment has connection points for high-pressure guns. Mounting and dismounting of the mounted washing equipment is performed on a unified plate with the help of two jacks, which at the same time support the equipment during storage.
