A grapple truck is a truck with a crane and grapple gripper designed for loading, unloading and transportation of waste. One person who combines functions of a driver and a crane operator is required to handle a grapple truck. The grapple truck consists of an automobile chassis with a crane-manipulator mounted on it and a tipper body of rectangular type with rear swinging gate and tipping angle not less than 50°. The body floor is made of 6 mm thick sheet steel, the sides - 4 mm. On the base of the body there are brackets preventing longitudinal and transverse displacement relative to the frame, thus maximizing the payload. |
