Garbage trucks of the MK-XX47 series are rear-loading garbage trucks equipped with a crane-manipulator unit located on the roof of the garbage truck body. The vehicle of this design can work with both conventional containers of standards: EN 840-1, DIN 30740, DIN 30700, EN 840-2, EN 840-3, and box-shaped metal containers from 700 to 1100 liters, and with sunk containers.
Garbage trucks equipped with a crane-manipulator unit, models MK-4547-08 and MK-3547-10 can also be produced in a portal (double-column-supported) version, which also allows to work with containers of 7.6 - 8 m³. Municipal vehicles of the MK-XX47 series are the most universal, as sunk containers are becoming increasingly popular in Russia, but, on the other hand, a very large share of the old infrastructure of solid waste collection sites still remains and it is necessary to combine completely different methods of waste collection, which requires the use of universal special equipment.
