MK-x553-xx side-loading garbage trucks with the improved compacting mechanism, with the automatic compacting process control system. The frameless body design. Coefficient of compaction is up to 4.

Simplicity of design and maintenance, availability of the  automatic control system (hereinafter referred to as ACS), providing stable operation in automatic and manual modes, reliability in operation are the main features of these garbage trucks.

The body of the trucks is made of high-quality structural low-alloy steel 09G2S, due to which its construction is lightened without the loss of strength. In the front part of the body there is a press-chamber, characterized by reduced overall width and height (400 mm each), sufficient to collect wastes accumulated in containers of all existing standards up to 1300 liters.

The side walls of the press chamber have guides located one above the other. In the lower guide there is a pressing plate with the possibility of an in-and-out working motion and a backward motion by means of two power hydraulic cylinders (specific compression compacting pressure of about 0.3 MPa).

The plate works in the caprolon sliders. Flaps are placed above the plate with the ability to move in the side guides when the pressing plate moves due to interaction with the stops located on the adjacent flaps. The flaps move following the pressing plate by engaging with internal stops attached to the pressing plate and one of the flaps. The press chamber is closed from above with a lid.

The lid is opened by a hydraulic lift cylinder simultaneously with the extension of the outrigger under the manipulator, if available. The rear part of the hopper is pivotally hinged with a semicircular shaped tailgate with increased capacity (up to 0.9 m3), which is opened by hydraulic cylinders. In the transport position the tailgate is pressed against the hopper on an inclined surface (to improve body tightness) and locked with clips.

In the lower part of the tailgate there is a P-shaped rubber seal, which provides sealing of the body due to tight adhesion of the tailgate to the body. When compacting the wastes, some moisture is released, the tightness of the body is ensured by the height of the rubber seal of the tailgate  (1000 mm). The hopper of the body in relation to the press chamber is placed 150 mm lower in height to form a tank for collecting liquid fraction from the waste.

The body is pivotally hinged on the subframe. The body has a base made of channels, by which it is supported on the subframe. The waste is unloaded by a dump truck method. The body lifting mechanism is driven by single-acting hydraulic cylinders.

To reload the waste from containers the manipulator with the load-carrying capacity of 700 kg is used, which is characterized by simplicity and high durability. It is also made of high-quality structural low-alloy steel 09G2S. The manipulator is pivotally mounted on the subframe on the right side of the garbage truck. It consists of a frame, boom, extendable carriage, tipper and gripper. As standard, the manipulator is equipped with one of three types of grippers for the front wall of the container.

On request, the manipulator can be completed with additional grippers (patent of 'Ryazhsky Avtoremontniy Zavod' JSC № 160217 - universal replaceable gripper MK 14.900.000 for standard containers with capacity of 80, 120, 140, 240, 240, 360, 460, 460, 660, 1100, 1300 liters and box-shaped metal containers with capacity from 700 to 1100 liters (standards for picked-up containers depend on the type of the installed gripper). In the transport position of the manipulator, the container gripper should be rotated to the maximum angle until it comes into contact with the wall of the press chamber.

The hydraulic system is of the double-circuit type HDC (Heavy Duty Components) with drive of the pressing plate of the pressing mechanism by electro-hydraulic distributors controlled by means of an automatic control system. The drive of the rest of the equipment is hydraulic with manual hydraulic distributor for controlling the actuating hydraulic cylinders, consisting of high quality SALAMI, Walvoil, Danfoss components. Fittings are produced by ‘Cast’. Rods and pipes of ‘Cromsteel’ hydraulic cylinders, Romania. Seals of rods and pistons, rings, mud collectors of ‘Busak-Shamban’ hydraulic cylinders. ‘STAUFF’ hydraulic tubes.

Painting with two-component acrylic-urethane materials. It is possible to paint the equipment in the color of the customer's company.
