MK-x554-xx side-loading garbage trucks with the modernized compacting mechanism (with a pendulum plate), with the automatic compacting process control system. The frameless body design. Coefficient of compaction is up to 6.

Simplicity of design, accessibility to units for maintenance, the highest specific compression compacting pressure of 0.5 MPa, the availability of the automatic control system (hereinafter referred to as ACS), which provides convenience, reliability in operation and high performance of these garbage trucks.

The body of the trucks is made of high-quality structural low-alloy steel 09G2S, due to which its design is lightened without the loss of strength. In the front part of the body there is a press-chamber, which has a reduced overall width (by 800 mm), sufficient to collect wastes accumulated in containers of all existing standards up to 1300 liters.

The press chamber has a simpler, more reliable and maintainable design compared to the previous models. In the upper part of the press chamber the pressing plate is pivotally mounted on hinges. Outside the press chamber there are hydraulic cylinders of the plate drive making  in-and-out and rotating motions.

From above the press chamber is closed with a lid. The tailgate of a semicircular shape  is pivotally hinged to the rear part of the hopper, providing increased capacity (up to 0.9 m3), which is opened by hydraulic cylinders. In the transport position the tailgate is pressed against the hopper  on the inclined surface (to improve body tightness) and locked with clips.

In the lower part of the tailgate there is a P-shaped rubber seal, which provides sealing of the body due to tight adhesion of the tailgate to the body. When compacting the wastes, some moisture is released, the tightness of the body is ensured by the height of the rubber seal of the tailgate (1500 mm).

The body is pivotally hinged to the subframe. The body has a base made of channels, by which it rests on the subframe. The waste is unloaded by a dumping method. The body lifting mechanism is driven by double-acting hydraulic cylinders.

For waste reloading from containers the manipulator with the load-carrying capacity of 700 kg  is used, which is characterized by simplicity and high durability. It is also made of high-quality structural low-alloy steel 09G2S. The manipulator is pivotally mounted on the subframe on the right side of the garbage truck. It consists of a frame, boom, extendable carriage, tipper and gripper. Manipulator turning, boom tilting, carriage extension, gripper turning and container clamping are performed by hydraulic cylinders.

The double hydraulic cylinder, double-acting with a rod, is installed to rotate the manipulator. The use of this cylinder allows to set the manipulator in the central position, which is necessary when tipping containers.

As standard, the manipulator is equipped with one of three types of grippers for the front wall of the container. On request, the manipulator can be completed with additional grippers (patent of 'Ryazhsky Avtoremontniy Zavod' JSC № 160217 - universal replaceable gripper MK 14.900.000 for standard containers with capacity of 80, 120, 140, 240, 240, 360, 460, 460, 660, 1100, 1300 liters and box-shaped metal containers with capacity from 700 to 1100 liters (the standards for picked-up containers depend on the type of the installed gripper). In the transport position of the manipulator, the container gripper should be rotated to the maximum angle until it comes into contact with the wall of the press chamber.

The hydraulic system is of the  double-circuit type HDC (Heavy Duty Components) with drive of the pressing plate of the pressing mechanism by electro-hydraulic distributors controlled by means of an automatic control system. The drive of the rest of the equipment is hydraulic with a manual hydraulic distributor for controlling the actuating hydraulic cylinders, consisting of high quality SALAMI, Walvoil, Danfoss components. Fittings are produced by ‘Cast’. Rods and pipes of ‘Cromsteel’ hydraulic cylinders, Romania. Seals of rods and pistons, rings, mud collectors of ‘Busak-Shamban’ hydraulic cylinders. ‘STAUFF’ hydraulic tubes.

Painting with two-component acrylic-urethane materials. It is possible to paint the equipment in the color of the customer's company.
