Visit of Pavel Malkov, acting Governor of Ryazan region to Ryazhsky ARZ JSC

On Thursday, September 8, Pavel Malkov, acting governor of Ryazan region, visited 'Ryazhsky Avtoremontniy Zavod' as part of his working trip to Ryazhsky district.

The head of the enterprise Alexander Kalmykov explained that Ryazhsky ARZ is engaged in the design and production of municipal and road equipment, produces special purpose vehicles - garbage trucks, heavy-duty loaders with hydraulic mechanisms, equipment for oil and gas sector and forestry, and  combined road vehicles of various modifications. Now the plant manufactures 116 items of machinery.

Sanctions pressure did not affect the work of the enterprise. Recently, it has created a new model of municipal vehicles - a vehicle for washing containers.

"The enterprise is very solid, powerful and stands firmly on its feet, Pavel Malkov said after having inspected the production shops and samples of finished products.  The interest of consumers to the equipment produced here is now growing. The city of Ryazan and the Ryazan region, including our regional operator Eco-Pronsk, are buying it".

According to Pavel Malkov, he and Alexander Kalmykov discussed a number of issues where the regional government could help the enterprise in terms of optimizing production and products promotion.

"We discussed the companies of our region that purchase products of Ryazhsky ARZ, and the ones that do not. In my opinion, if the quality of vehicles is high and the price is competitive, it is necessary to give preference to the regional manufacturer."

Pavel Malkov noted that Ryazan, among others, lacks municipal vehicles. Therefore, the municipal vehicle fleet in Ryazan will gradually grow and be step by step updated.
